about me
Hello! Welcome to my portfolio!
My name is Srilekha Cherukuvada, and I'm a Senior studying Business Administration at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor Ross School of Business. I'm currently double minoring in Community Action & Social Change and Education for Empowerment.
On campus, I'm involved in Michigan Innovative Marketing, as a part of a consulting team, am a Campus Day Leader, and am involved in Detroit Partnership. I also was previously an Orientation Leader and was a Research Assistant in a Social Psychology/Education Lab. I'm currently in the Intergroup Dialogues program as well, learning how to lead productive group discussions around social issues.
Over the past few years, I have been heavily involved in several social justice organizations, and have founded my own nonprofit organization, REVIVL. I'm passionate about bringing social impact to the forefront of business, and would like to continue my work in the social sector as I continue building my career.
In addition to nonprofit work, I also love writing, editing, photography, graphic design, and everything media & marketing. I'm currently an Account Manager at Kahani Digital Marketing, where I work with small business South Asian clients in growing their social presence through social media marketing, email marketing, and event marketing. I also previously worked as the Media and Marketing Manager at Youth Enrichment Services where I guide the development of the monthly newsletter, strategize for social media, and manage the website.
Outside of work, I am also experienced in musical performance - I have learned the flute for almost 10 years and learned South Asian classical carnatic music as well. I enjoy traveling, and spending time with my cousins, as well as making jewelry and completing puzzles!
